LINDA KEMP INTERNATIONALLY KNOWN WATERCOLOR ARTIST AT MARIENTHAL
Marienthal will be host to Linda Kemp's watercolor workshop: PAINTING OUTSIDE THE LINES: A POSITIVE APPROACH TO NEGATIVE PAINTING IN WATERCOLOUR
Negative painting is an intriguing, alternative approach that artists can use to create striking, alluring artworks. Working in the negative means that rather than painting the object itself, the shape is created by painting around the object. It's a simple shift in the way you see!!
Linda's workshop runs over a three day weekend, Sept. 19-21. We welcome you with a wine and cheese reception on Thursday evening and you will enjoy Linda's lectures and demonstrations from 9am-4pm Friday through Sunday. Check out our workshops/seminars page for more information.
To truly relax after your class, stay at The Artisan Inn or Brick House B&B at Marienthal. Enjoy luxurious rooms after your full day of fun, clean up in your private bath, and enjoy a decadent breakfast in the morning.
