Jeanne’s back! Take advantage of this limited opportunity to take a pottery class with former Hamburg resident, master potter, Jeanne Palmer of Palmer Pottery at Marienthal in Eden, NY.
Learn to work on the potter’s wheel and various handbuilding techniques. Introduction to basic skills to create mugs, bowls, vases, etc. Includes lead-free glazes, clay, and firings for class projects.

Learn from William R. Maurer to paint in an impressionist manner. He is constantly experimenting with color and technique; always searching for free expression, taking liberty with design and composition. Many previous students agree that his classes are “intended for all levels”, “are lots of fun”, “help you discover your hidden talent”, and maybe most importantly, “relieve stress”.
Enjoy Bill’s bravura brushwork resulting in masterfully executed plein-air impressionistic effects. He began his formal training at Pratt Institute in 1955 and later received a Master of Architecture degree from Harvard University and entered the premiere class of the École Superieure des Beaux Arts in Paris. A native of New York City, he has resided part-time in France since 1962. He had his own architectural offices in Morocco during 1970-80 and traveled extensively throughout North Africa. Maurer has painted subjects throughout the world and continues to find an interesting genre to draw from. Living in Cannes, France during the summer months and in Fernandina Beach, Florida during the remainder of the year, gives him ample opportunity to paint the quaint, charming street and boat scenes that he has become well-known for.

The ancient Chinese art of feng shui is a wonderful tool to use in creating a beautiful garden. A garden is an outdoor room and the goal of feng shui is to harness the chi (energy) and use it to bring positive messages into your space.
Learn to see your outdoor space through the eyes of feng shui and use these tools to create your ideal garden .
The designs and plants you use in your garden—their shape, color, texture and smell—feed your soul and create life enhancing environments.
You will enjoy a cream tea luncheon at the Lord’s Garden and Mary Jane Bolo , Master Gardener will talk about biodiversity in the garden. She will discuss the importance of native plants how they support the wild creatures that we love!
Then finish your day with a visit to a quaint local nursery Windy Acres on Wagner Rd to put your new ideas to work! Kay will be present all day to offer suggestions and critiques.

Join internationally collected and award-winning sculptor Lynda Sappington in a 3 day workshop based on her book, Sculpting 101: A Primer for the Self-taught Artist (Paperback).
She will focus on creating an armature and measuring a subject, (the same principals apply no matter what you're sculpting: horses, people, cats, etc.), how to work with clay, and building the sculpture. NTSI Traffic Survival Workshop (Level 1) contains the most current information on defensive driving, traffic laws, collision avoidance, and the affects of alcohol and drugs on drivers. The Traffic Survival Workshop Level It is designed for the individual who:
• Wants to reduce the number of points on their license
• Wants to receive a discount on their insurance
• Needs to take the class as required by an employer
• Needs to satisfy a court order
• Wishes to increase their driving knowledge
Information On New York Point and Insurance Reduction BENEFITS:
• Completion of the course makes you eligible for a 10% reduction in the base rate of your Liability & Collision insurance.
• Depending on the insurance company, the discount will be given on the date of course completion, regardless of when the insurance company receives the certificate. Course must be completed every 3 years to maintain your insurance discount. Please call your insurance provider for more information.
• Completion of the course can reduce up to 4 points from your NY Driving Record. Note: Points do not get removed from your record, the course REDUCES points.
• Completion of the course is good for points received 18 months before the course. Students must wait 18 months after course completion before it can be taken again for point reduction. If they take it within that 18 months points will not be reduced by the DMV.
